I've been interested in Photography for some years now. It originally started when my father got me a Zenith 11 35mm SLR camera for a birthday. I used it a lot at my school photography club and although I did get some use out of it when I went to college I ended up learning my trade as a graphic designer instead. Its only through my wanting to go back to college and learn a thing or two now that I'm a little older that I have got back into it. I have just completed my Photography A Levels and would very much like to go on and do something else within the field of photography. Below are a selection of photo portfolios that I have created from the past few years.

Sexuality - a question of taste |

This selection of photos was down to my favourite photographer being Helmut Newton, my task to look at producing some photos alike his, it was only then that my tutor put the topic of men into the mix. Please note that this portfolio features some nudity.

In this series of photos I wanted to explore the female form and how when you get close enough you are able to transform it from a naked object into a series of shapes and form. The idea behind it all was based around some images by Bill Brandt and Ralph Gibson. Please note that this portfolio features some nudity

Berlin - a scrapbook view |
|
Well what can I say, I love the place. I've never been a fan of big cities but I like Berlin. It's not like a city, ok its big, its busyand it's full of people but it's got a real laid back approach to life. Maybe thats why I like it? Anyway I took these photos as part of one of my early projects and approached it as a scrap book styley project with all the juxtaposed angles.
